Changing Lives Through Education and health

What We Do

Health, Education, Advocacy, and Learning (H.E.A.L.) programs are W2LI’s signature initiatives, which were developed in alignment with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The MDGs acknowledge education and better health as an indispensable means for people to realize their fullest potential. Our signature programs are consistent with our mission and serves as guide to address key global issues and gaps related to education and health in underprivileged and underserved communities.

For many years the international community of nations has recognized education as a fundamental human right. It is with this notion that Walk2Learn International (W2LI) seeks to help to help unlock the transformative power of education.

Walk2Learn International health programs seek to ensure healthy lives and promote well being for all at all ages by providing quality healthcare services and information for optimal health outcomes.

Our goal is to promote new knowledge about how interventions work, for whom, and under what conditions and how they can be scaled up to improve health equity for children and their families.

At the core of Walk2Learn International is our advocacy initiative. Our advocacy initiative serves to bolster W2LI’s efforts in working with key stakeholders and partners in addressing the education and health concerns of the underserved population.
