Where We Are

Our Story


Walk2Learn International has been in existence in the United States since 2009. The organization was officially registered in Ghana as an NGO in 2012 and since that time we have implemented a number of programs focused on improving the quality of education and healthcare services in underserved and underprivileged communities.


Selected Accomplishments


  • Partnered with the Chief of Bonkwaso Community in the Ashanti Region to establish a library facility and donated 2,000 books to support them.

  • Partnered with the Member of Parliament for South Tongu Honorable Kobby Woyome and the District Education Service and donated 20,000 books worth approximately $36,000 dollars to 75 schools in the constituency.

  • Donated over 20,000 books to Aggrey Road School, Mexico School, Methodist School and Mangoase Day Nursery School in the Tema West Constituency

  • Donated 1,000 books to support JoyFMs Read 100 Project

  • Shipped 3,000 Braille books to support our disability initiative

  • Partnered with SFLI and donated 10,000 books to schools and orphanages in Kumasi and its neighboring communities.

  • Launched mandatory reading clubs run by our volunteer teachers helping the kids in underprivileged communities where we donate educational resources to read and write.
